What I want as an outcome from my project is to spread awareness about pollution. Pollution is not a easy thing to be deal with and should be taken seriously. I want people to know the effects pollution has on our world and how we can stop them and prevent it from happening even more!.

3 Facts I Have Learned
What I have learned about my topic is pollution can be caused by human activities like driving your car too much, that it can be deadly and it can impact the whole world if not stopped. Pollution can be stopped if we recycle and use transportation buses instead of our cars everwhere and use less of them.

Pollution
I chose my topic of pollution because people dont realize how much a big issue pollution is. If there is too much pollution in the air, something easy to contribute like driving your car, can cause death. If we dont stop pollution the earth will be polluted and that will lead to the death of trees and plants which would lead to us running out of oxygen. We can stop pollution by applying the 3 R’s. Reduce, reuse and recycle materials and things that can be reduce, possibly reuse and recycle for other purposes such as newspapers. Save and conserve energy by turning off your lights when you are not using it or you leave the room, unplug your appliances and more. If you dont have to use your car, dont use it, instead try to use a bicycle or walking.
Stop pollution and start within yourself. Learn more about this issue and gather all the details and facts you can have whether in books, surfing the web and other people that is more knowledgeable about it than you. All of these will help you have a better understanding of the situation.
Pollution Facts
Pollution is a Global Killer
Pollution affects over a billion people around the world, with millions poisoned and killed each year. The World Heath Organization estimates that 25 percent of all deaths in the developing world are directly attributable to environmental factor. Some researchers estimate that exposure to pollution causes 40 percent of deaths annually.
Pollution is Regarded as a Major (and quickly emerging) Factor in Disease
People affected by pollution problems can get other diseases. Others have impaired neurological development, damaged immune systems, and long-term health problems.
Women and Children are Especially at Risk, Children are Most Susceptible
Children are more vulnerable than adults. In some cases they have higher exposures since they eat, drink and breathe more per kilogram of body weight than adults and tend to ingest a lot more dirt and house dust than adults from their crawling around and playing outside. While children only make up 10 percent of the world’s population, over 40 percent of the global burden of disease falls on them. More than three million children under age five die annually from pollution.
Death is Not the Only Toll of Exposure to Pollutants
Pollution causes chronic illness, neurological damage and shortened lifespan. For instance, the presence of it lowers childrens I.Q. and rises blood levels.
Pollution is Worst in the Developing World
The world’s worst polluted places are in the developing world. Developing countries that are trying to increase their industrialization and make themselves economically competitive for manufacturing and processing.
Pollution Contributes to Global Warming
Toxic emission from industry and other sources may contain greenhouse gases. Thereforem, some sources of pollution contribute to global warming. Unlike global warming, where the negative effects are evolutionary and solutions elusive, the effects of pollution are immediate and deadly, and the solutions are well-known and available.
Pollution: A Global Killer, a Solvable Problem
All that is needed to eliminate pollution worldwide is resources and commitment.
